About me
I have a PhD in Genetic Resources, Biodiversity, and Bioprospecting. With nine years of experience in plant sciences research, I have worked on projects related to seed physiology and molecular biology of tropical species. My diverse background includes work experience in both Brazil and Germany. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation and I am always looking for new ways to pursue my passion for continuous learning.
Our projects aim to uncover the biotechnological potential of native plants for various industries and to study their ability to adapt to stressful environments caused by climate change. Our work aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of Zero Hunger and Climate Action. We are dedicated to innovative approaches to plant productivity, and we are driven by Environmental, Social, and Governance practices.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling, and visiting Botanical Gardens.
